It has been another great year to get married, from laid-back countryside ceremonies to stylish city celebrations, couples did things their own way, and we loved seeing all the different approaches come to life. We’ve rounded up our favourite photos from 2025 weddings, a collection of stunning shots, featured in both digital and print, made up of the moments that really matter, the laughs, the nerves, the hugs, and the bits in between that often end up meaning the most. Pop the kettle on, get comfortable, and enjoy a look back at the moments that made this year’s weddings so memorable, with a well-deserved nod to the photographers who captured it all!

We'll kick things off with one of our first weddings from 2025, Ciara & Kevin's Quinta Lago Dos Cisnes wedding, captured by Miguel Cunha! Starting as childhood friends, the pair reconnected at a wedding and in 2024, tied the knot in an utterly fabulous Portugal destination wedding.

Moving from Portugal to Belfast, Lisa and Phillip exchanged their vows in the historic Harland & Wolff headquarters and drawing offices at the Titanic Hotel. Shot by Sun & Beau, Lisa was a rare instance of the bride hitting the mark on the first try and fell in love with the first wedding dress she tried on; considering how beautiful she looks, we can say it was a match made in heaven!

From sweethearts to sweet treats, we were blown away by this gorgeous sugary creation from Jennifer & Conor's Tankardstown House wedding, photographed by Studio Brown. This summer celebration was bursting at the seams with darling pink accents, from the flowers to the bridesmaids' dresses, but this three-tiered beauty by Solo Bake was certainly a stand-out for us.

Laid-back and cool with a few subtle Simpsons references dotted throughout, Sophie & Robert's Smock Alley Theatre wedding, snapped by Elaine Barker Photography, was one of my personal favourite weddings of 2025. With seven years of history together and a bouncing baby boy, there wasn't a dry eye in the house from the moment Sophie started her walk down the aisle.

One of the first dips on the list (trust me, there will be more!), Sharon & Colm's wedding at Lough Rynn Castle was featured in our Winter 2024 issue. Their wedding colours were to die for, with powder pinks and champagnes splashed all over this mid-summer celebration, captured by Anna G!

From the first of 2025 to one of the last, McKenzie & Patrick exchanged their vows in a stunning marquee ceremony at Carton House, all photographed by Livia Figueiredo Photography. With bridesmaids in blue, their relationship dating back to 2019, and a beautiful new Galia Lahav gown, you only need something borrowed to make this special day tradition perfect.

Shot by Photos by Jen, Hazel & Aodhan's Marlfield House wedding was timeless elegance personified! Inspired by Grace Kelly, Hazel's Pronovias princess gown was absolute perfection and couldn't have suited the venue any better.

Brimming with some of the most beautiful styling of 2025, Emma & Matthew enlisted the help of Betty Williamson to transform the Carriage Rooms into a delicate haven. Taken by Laura Parkinson, if you're on the hunt for some soft styling inspo, then look no further!

A case of two ships constantly passing in the night, Grace and Daniel had been circling each other peripherally for almost a decade. Still, it wasn't until a festival in Manchester that the two connected and their love story began. Over ten years later, they said 'I Do' in a romantic Donegal wedding at the An Chúirt Hotel, photographed by Emma Russell Photography.

Sunshine, palm trees and a seriously chic setting, Linda and Robert’s Boho Club Marbella wedding felt more like the best holiday ever than a traditional wedding day. Think effortless Mediterranean cool, circular-arch florals, and toes‑in‑sand energy, perfectly matched to their laid‑back style and love of travel, captured by Amali Studios.

Spot on for the season, Shauna and Shane brought cosy winter warmth to Clonabreany House. We were especially smitten with this gorgeous mother-daughter getting-ready shot, photographed by Laura Parkinson, though not quite as smitten as Shauna's mum is!

Clare and Eoin's Markree Castle celebration had that classic Irish fairytale feel, with rich bridal-party tones and grand gardens galore. Recorded by Under the Veil and featured in the Summer issue of SOCIAL & PERSONAL WEDDINGS, their wedding day marked just over 10 years together and what a way to celebrate!

If we're going to talk about decor, Robyn & Sam's Cashel Palace Hotel wedding photos, snapped by Studio Brown, are a must-include in this recap. With some of the most stunning arrangements we've seen all year, we really have to give Cashel Flowers their flowers (see what I did there).

This moment from Mary Kathryn and Carson’s day at Cashel House Hotel quite literally looks like it could have been pulled from a fairy tale, thanks to the fabulous work of ID Photography.

Sometimes you find the most charming moments before the walk down the aisle. We're in love with this shot of Lauren and her bridesmaids while she looks over an album of images with her soon-to-be husband, Jamie. Pictured by Irina Duane Photography, their Scottish-influenced celebration at Fota Island Resort was packed with photos that made us smile.

Talking about moments that made us smile, Catherine & Carter's Luttrellstown Castle wedding might just be one of the liveliest real weddings we've shared all year! At any given moment, Anna G has photographed the happy couple in what can only be described as abject joy.

We promised you another dip shot!  With an absolute showstopper of a wedding dress (Thanks, Galia Lahav), eight bridesmaids in mix-and-match silvery sage dresses and an unseasonably sunny Irish day, it was hard to choose just one photo from Kristana & Ryan's Dromoland Castle wedding, taken by Christina Brosnan.

Sometimes it takes travelling to the other side of the globe for two lovers from Dundalk to cross paths! Featured in the Autumn issue of SOCIAL & PERSONAL WeddingsNiamh and Brendan flew 3,200 miles to celebrate their wedding day just 55 miles from their family homes, but with shots like this (expertly photoed by Under the Veil), we think it was worth it!

It's hard to beat a good bouquet, and this wild-flower-packed beauty from Hannah & James’ Ballyvolane House wedding caught my eye in the best way. Deciding to lean into their Irish ties, the New Zealanders abandoned the sunny climate for a celebration in Cork, and thankfully, our little island pulled out all the stops with a fabulous summer day!

A real tale of two loversCiara and Xavier were on-and-off-again high-school sweethearts who reconnected just before the 2020 lockdowns and knew from the first date that the other was their end-game! To say that the pair had a huge wedding party is to put things lightly, with Ciara having nine bridesmaids and Xavier having nine groomsmen by their side at their Carton House celebration, captured by Spellbound Photography.

Exchanging their vows on the steps of Luttrellstown CastleMegan & Jonathan's sunlit celebration might be one of our top choices for weddings featured this year! Throughout the whole gallery, snapped by Anna G (which you should really check out), you can feel the joy radiating not only from the couple but also from their wedding party.

Moody and romantic, this is another stunning celebration at Luttrellstown Castle, although much later in the year! With an intimate proposal during a picnic in a vineyard in Champagne, Lindsey and Thomas really understand how to set the tone, and luckily, Elaine Barker Photography was there to capture the whole thing.

Not the traditional bride carry, more like Conan the Barbarian, but we're head over heels for this shot from Emma & Marc's Castle Leslie Estate wedding, photographed by Peter Carvill. The pair had toured half of Ireland as wedding guests, so when it came to choosing their venue, Castle Leslie Estate was the standout (It certainly helped that they hadn't attended a wedding there previously!).

And last, but certainly not least, featured in the Summer issue of SOCIAL & PERSONAL WEDDINGSEmer & Conor's Castlemartyr Resort wedding is chock full of energetic and expressive shots, just like this fab photo of Emer and the groomsmen (notice her new husband being hoisted into the air right behind her), photoed by Wilma Towell Photography!
