A Premier golf resort nestled along the coast of Clare, the signature pavilion of Trump International Hotel & Golf Links was the gorgeous venue for the wedding of Emma Fox to Eoghan Donnellan on the 12th of April 2025, captured by Syona Photography.

The pair are originally from Clare and Limerick, respectively, but didn't actually meet until their paths crossed while working in Dublin in 2016.

The pair spent six months travelling across Asia, Australia and New Zealand together in 2023. Coming towards the end of the trip, on a four-hour hike to the top of Roy’s Peak, one of New Zealand's most famous and spectacular day hikes, Eoghan popped the question.

For her wedding day fragrance, Emma wore Beach Walk by Maison Margiela Republica, a floral-fruity gourmand with notes of pink pepper, coconut milk, and musk.

When she started her dress-shopping journey, Emma had a fair idea of what she liked, and Kyha's chosen brand was one of them! This wasn't straightforward, though. She visited five boutiques initially before finding the one. "I knew the Monté gown was the one as I felt so comfortable in it." For her veil, she commissioned Sandra in 'Blue meadow' in Belfast to create something fun and different, as the dress was somewhat simple; the result was a cathedral-length tulle veil covered in delicate tulle bows.

For his wedding day ensemble, Eoghan wore a classic navy tuxedo with a shawl lapel from Patrick Bourke Menswear. His groomsmen were wearing a similar outfit sans the waistcoat.

Emma's bridal party consisted of her three best friends, some from growing up with her and others from college! They wore simple and timeless square-neck navy dresses from Forever New, paired with matching bows and heels. Her mum wore a beautiful ivory crepe dress with a matching cape from Bessbrook-based designer Shauna Fay.

The pair got married at St. Senan's church, where Emma's parents also had their wedding! For their music, they had the extra personal touch of a school friend who sang, and she has a beautiful voice. She and Michael did a fabulous rendition of ‘The Prayer’.

One of the biggest draws to the venue for the couple was Doughmore beach, where Trump Doonbeg is situated. "We also love West Clare and found the staff at the venue extremely warm and down-to-earth, and we had a great overall impression. It lived up to our expectations!"

For their drinks reception, Emma and Eoghan hired Manila Strings, a three-part string and percussion group, to lift the mood before dinner! For their after-dinner music, the pair chose Flog the Dog as the band, modern music with a traditional twist!
