When it comes to wishfully looking through endless wedding photos and our favourite wedding events, we just can’t help having a soft spot for the morning of shots. They’re one of the most endearing and fun-filled shots of the entire wedding day, full of humour, nerves and excitement. This is a time, when done traditionally, the bride and groom are separated and are full of anticipation of what lies ahead. They’re surrounded by excited bridesmaids, doting parents, giddy children and witty groomsmen. This eclectic and vibrant mixture of people and emotions really makes for a raw, honest and endearing window into the world of wedding preparations. We also love indulging the more glamorous and whimsical side of the bride’s morning, which more often than, not includes trays upon trays of high end makeup and big hair. Of course, with that smile comes the more enjoyable side of the wedding morning, the antics that usually ensue to help calm the nerves. Whether it’s a bride elegantly sipping a teacup full of prosecco or the groomsmen sneaking around a hipflask or clinking beer bottles, there’s always that cheekier side to the wedding morning pictures that we love to see. Not forgetting the indulgent food, from a full Irish fry to chocolate croissants and the ever present cups upon cups of coffee. In all the chaos that ensues in each bride and groom's rooms before the wedding, it’s always a good idea to try and capture at least a few moments.
