Friends for years, love blossomed in 2011, 'We were friends for years and soon love replaced friendship after a drunken kiss on New Year's Eve 5 years ago.'

The proposal came in December 2015 when, while Christmas shopping, Conor popped the question at the top of Grafton Street. The couple moved swiftly, but took the planning process in their stride, booking all of the big list items first: the venue, photographer, and most importantly hair and makeup. To make planning even easier they chose to send e-invites to all their guests, 'We took all the stress out of the invitation process and sent out paperless invites via WhatsApp to all of our guests using Theknot.com.'

The style stakes were high on the big day with Julianne's glamorous dress having been made by Irish designer Synan O'Mahony of Roisin Cross Silks in Dun Laoghaire. Her look was showstopping and was complimented by the simplicity of her bridesmaid's dresses.

The groom and the groomsmen had matching teal velvet suit jackets that were handmade by Maeve Paterson in Studio 54 in Blackrock. A striking statement they complimented Julianne's dress.

The couple always wanted to have a Dublin city wedding. 'We loved the idea of having it in a restaurant but we needed one that could cater for 150 guests.' they chose Marco Pierre White’s Courtyard Bar & Grill in Donnybrook as it was always one of their favourites. 'A hidden oasis nestled in the heart of Donnybrook, the staff were always so welcoming and the food is amazing, there was no competition.'

The day was perfect from start to finish and both Julianne and Conor wouldn't change a thing. Their advice for couples getting married, 'Over-planning can ruin your big day and lead to disappointment. Go with the flow and you’ll be surprised at how much fun you can have.'
