We could look through bridesmaid styles forever, so it's only natural that one of our Instagram top five would centre around bridesmaid dresses. From full length dresses to quirky skirts, the styles of dresses you can choose from are endless. Not to mention, there's nothing to say you have to put all your bridesmaids in the same dress! We're all for mismatched bridesmaids if you feel that certain styles would suit certain bridesmaids better. You choose the same dress in different colours for your bridal party, or you can go with the same colour to match your colour scheme but change the shade depending on your bridesmaids' skin tone and hair colour. The options really are endless.
The days of sticking your bridesmaids in ugly, puffy explosions of tulle and organza are gone. We all know that you don't do yourself any favours by trying to make your bridesmaids look less good than you. Aside from the fact that everyone will have eyes on the bride anyway, and even the fact that you will cause some serious tension between you and your bridesmaids, you will also most likely regret those puffy pink monstrosities when you look back at your very expensive professional photos in a few months time.
Be sure to choose a bridesmaid dress (or dresses) that not only you like, but also that your bridesmaids are happy with. Involve them in the selection process or at least ask them if there are any colours or styles they're completely adverse to.
